Navgrun Plans 1.2 GW TOPCon G12R Wafer and Cell Manufacturing Capacity
Navgrun plans to establish 1.2 GW of annual TOPCon G12R wafer and solar cell manufacturing capacity, complementing its existing 700 MW module facility to build an integrated solar manufacturing ecosystem.

Navgrun has announced plans to establish 1.2 GW of annual manufacturing capacity for advanced TOPCon G12R solar wafers and solar cells.
The planned facility will complement Navgrun’s existing 700 MW TOPCon G12R solar module manufacturing facility and is aimed at creating a vertically integrated manufacturing ecosystem spanning wafers, cells and modules, the company stated.
It further added that the proposed facility is expected to manufacture TOPCon G12R solar wafers, TOPCon G12R solar cells, advanced solar modules and Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) solutions.
Navgrun said that the planned investment is intended to strengthen domestic solar manufacturing capabilities, improve supply chain resilience and support India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat objectives.
The integration of wafer, cell and module manufacturing is expected to provide the company with greater control over its manufacturing value chain while supporting the growing domestic demand for high-efficiency solar technologies, the company stated.
