Juniper Green Energy Completes 75 MW Tata Hybrid Project in Maharashtra
Juniper Green Energy’s Maharashtra project combines 36.25 MWp of solar and 50 MW of wind capacity connected across Pune and Latur districts.

Juniper Green Energy has fully commissioned its 75 MW Tata Hybrid Project in Maharashtra with the commissioning of the project’s 36.25 MWp DC solar capacity at Bhigwan, Pune. With this commissioning, the entire project comprising 36.25 MWp of solar and 50 MW of wind capacity now stands fully operational.
The project has been developed through Juniper Green Beam Eight, a subsidiary of Juniper Green Energy, under a 75 MW Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Tata Power. The solar project is connected at Bhigwan Substation in the Pune district, while the wind component is connected at Nilanga Substation in the Latur district, Maharashtra. With this commissioning, Tata Power becomes the latest distribution utility to be added to JGEL's growing customer base.
The 50 MW wind component was commissioned in phases during July and August 2026.

With the commissioning of the Bhigwan solar capacity, Juniper Green Energy’s aggregate operational renewable energy capacity now stands at approximately 2,725 MWp and 503 MWh BESS. The addition further strengthens the company’s operating portfolio and its capabilities across solar, wind and hybrid renewable energy projects.
