Hoymiles has expanded its partnership with Saudi Arabian renewable energy distributor QSSUN to accelerate the deployment of solar photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage solutions across Kuwait and the wider Gulf region.
The collaboration focuses on residential as well as commercial and industrial (C&I) applications, building on the companies' existing success in Saudi Arabia. The partnership aims to strengthen access to high performance solar and battery storage technologies while supporting the region's growing clean energy transition.
As part of the expanded agreement, Hoymiles and QSSUN will also explore emerging applications including microgrid systems and hybrid power plants. The initiative forms part of Hoymiles' global expansion strategy, which emphasises developing localised energy ecosystems in key international markets.
By combining Hoymiles' advanced solar and energy storage technologies with QSSUN's regional distribution network and market expertise, the two companies plan to deliver more efficient, reliable and accessible clean energy solutions for customers across the Gulf.
Guy Rong, Vice President of Hoymiles, said that the partnership reflects the company's commitment to supporting the Middle East's energy transition through collaboration with regional partners that understand local market requirements.
