Delhi Test House said its laboratory in Kundli, Sonipat, has been recognised as an IEC CB Testing Laboratory (CBTL) under the IECEE CB Scheme by SGS Belgium.
The recognition, issued under ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and under the responsibility of NCB SGS Belgium, enables the laboratory to conduct internationally accepted testing for solar photovoltaic (PV) modules in accordance with IEC standards.
The certification is expected to support solar manufacturers seeking product approvals in multiple international markets through the CB Scheme, under which test reports are accepted by participating countries.
According to the company, the recognition will help manufacturers reduce duplication of testing, shorten certification timelines and lower compliance costs for exports.
Delhi Test House said manufacturers using its services would be able to access internationally recognised CB test reports for solar PV modules and other electro-technical products.
The laboratory said it offers testing for product safety, performance, durability and environmental reliability in line with applicable standards.
Delhi Test House has more than 50 years of experience in testing services and has worked on over 10,000 products.
The company said the new CBTL status would strengthen its role in supporting manufacturers seeking compliance with international quality and certification requirements as demand for solar products grows globally.
