Que: Can you elaborate on Socomec's involvement in providing isolation and protection solutions for photovoltaic applications?

Ans: Socomec specializes in the field of solar PV. We offer a rugged and reliable range of onload PV disconnectors designed for integration within Combiner boxes and re combiner sections of PV Inverters. Our PV isolators boast a global installation reference, featuring prominently in some of the largest utility-scale solar parks worldwide. Specifically engineered for harsh environments and temperature extremes, our isolators emphasize restricting critical current build-up to ensure lasting performance without deterioration in characteristics.

Our PV switching range caters to both 1000Vdc rooftop installation isolation and 1500Vdc utility-scale solar applications, isolating solar arrays within the string combiner box perimeter. We've recently introduced a state-of-the-art 2000Vdc range of PV isolators, further solidifying our position as a leader in the field, catering to both IEC and UL markets. Additionally, we offer a complementary range of accessories, including External handles tolerant to UV radiation.

Regarding our footprint in the Indian solar PV market, we boast the largest deployment base since 2010, representing a significant share of cumulative PV installations. Our installations cover ultra-large ground-mounted and floating solar projects, spanning extreme environmental conditions such as desert areas, coastal zones, and high-altitude installations.
