Que: Can you share with us the latest innovations or products that DhaSh PV Technologies will be showcasing at Intersolar Europe this year?
Ans: DhaSh PV Technologies, after unfolding its calibre in the conventional products, again steals the show with its show-stopper, the ‘DhaSh TRIO’ JB, coming as a set of three!
The DhaSh TRIO JB has revealed itself with a much more compact but robust design, increased efficiency & optimised cost, accommodating all the latest technology demands. The reduced overall size for Trio no longer poses any challenge to the bifacial gain of half-cut/GG modules. The product is suitable for use in all high-efficiency PV Modules having short-circuit current of up to 18.5~19A.
DhaSh Trio becomes the second product in a row unveiled by DhaSh with 'Integrated Module' diode, having superior heat dissipation ability & controlled junction temperature (<200⁰C) under multiple JB-rated current applications (up to 30A). The premium grade of plastic material used as the enclosure possesses thermal endurance of up to 125⁰C, flame class of 5VA (under UL-94, V0) & ingress protection rating of IP68, which makes the product more robust for working in harsh conditions & is on an upscale over any market available similar family product. Cables & connectors meeting lower contact resistance requirements aid in reduced cell-to-module losses.
Que: With a focus on expansion in the European market, what strategies is DhaSh PV Technologies employing to establish a strong presence and capture market share in Europe?
Ans: An ambitious target, a climate-neutral society by 2050 committed by the EU has been complicated by the energy crisis and the Ukraine conflict, as well as efforts to replace the import of Russian gas. Solar energy, in particular photovoltaics (PV), is currently the fastest-growing renewable energy source in the EU.
We are already supplying and catering to the requirements of solar PV module manufacturers in Europe. It is good to see that Europe is planning a major ramp-up of solar-photovoltaic and a few of our clients have already started ramping up or have expansion plans in motion.
To further expand and strengthen our global footprint, we are strategically focusing on strengthening our distribution networks, intensifying collaborations with international partners, and leveraging our extensive product portfolio to cater to diverse market demands. These approaches, combined with our commitment to quality and innovation, underpin our pursuit of sustainable growth on both regional and global fronts.
Que: Can you discuss any partnerships or collaborations that DhaSh PV Technologies has forged in Europe to enhance its distribution network or access new customer segments?
Ans: DhaSh PV, which enjoys leadership in the PV junction box manufacturing in India, has undergone the expansion following the strong growth and success it had worldwide for its products, enabling the firm to support capacity increase from 5 GW in 2020 to 35 GW by September 2024 and 50 GW by September 2025 and this will make us the largest non-Chinese-owned PV junction box manufacturing company in the world.
We are present in Vienna. Our talented team is taking care of future demands and closely working with our customers for any new developments. The solar power segment is witnessing a period of exciting developments across all its sub segments. While massive auctions and project announcements continue to create a strong solar project pipeline for the near future in both utility-scale and floating solar segments, the open-access and residential solar segments have received a promising policy boost.
Que: Given the diverse renewable energy landscape in Europe, how does DhaSh PV Technologies adapt its product offerings to meet the specific needs and regulations of different European countries?
Ans: Since our establishment in 2017, DhaSh has been driven by innovation and development. Continuously upgrading its product and offering a wide range of products for different applications like Agri PV, Flexible Solar Panels, BIPV, Floating Solar and recently, we started to provide complete connection solutions at the DC side, from solar panels to inverters. We have developed Y Connectors, Branch Connectors, Inline Fuse Connectors, Panel Mount Connectors, Wire Harness which give complete solutions for DC connections and eliminate the fire and safety risks that arise due to cross-mating and increase the system performance by keeping contact resistance minimum.
This further enhances our manufacturing footprint and allows us to enhance our hold on the future opportunities available in Europe and globally.
