Que: Insolation Energy (INA) has Rajasthan’s first fully automatic SPV Module manufacturing line. Does this create any competitive advantage?

Ans: Fully automatic SPV Module manufacturing line not only helps in setting an accurate projected cost and time of production but also you can manufacture best-in-class quality PV modules with it. By setting Rajasthan’s first fully automatic 60 MW SPV Module manufacturing line, we can acquire our aim of producing the most reliable PV modules. Due to the least manual intervention, the products manufactured by us are more reliable and they have better lifespan and power performance, also they are micro crack free.

Ans: INA manufactures and offers monocrystalline and polycrystalline PV modules from 40W to 350W, apart from traditional modules; INA also offers different products in this sector like glass to glass module, twin power module, and mono perc module. Our product comes with a warranty of 25 years. INA believes that customer’s satisfaction is our satisfaction and thus we provide after sale support too. We have also toll free helpline number so that customers can reach us anytime if they need any support.

INA is focusing on quality of the products and producing it with cost-effectiveness, our research and development team is working on new products according to the changing needs and demands of the customer so that we can launch more innovative products. In terms of quality, we are no less than any international company and when it comes to marketing we are aiming to make people aware about the solar energy and solar products and how Insolation energy stand an all the quality level of solar products. In the coming years, INA aims to come up as a global example in the solar industry.

Que: What are your thoughts on the Indian government’s solar policies, especially the ones to encourage domestic solar production?

Ans: I’m not a big admirer of the changes in MNRE policies. Steps like safeguard duty on imports are in the support of domestic manufacturers but the government must take more potent steps for encouraging indigenous manufacturers. Domestic manufacturing base should get financial support, incentive, subsidized power, land, and support by the government.

Que: How important is technology upgradation for Insolation Energy?

Ans: Insolation Energy is dedicatedly working towards technology up gradation for accelerating manufacturing capacity. Our manufacturing line embodies the finest automatic machinery and we are expanding it with time for the expansion of production. Even for the expansion of quality, we are setting new machinery in the lab.

Que: What are Insolation Energy ‘s future plans in the near term?

Ans: A small change in the policy can have a big effect on a solar panel manufacturer. In order to have a clear and long-term vision, and for being ready for any kind of leap, we consistently stay in touch with the ministry and fellow manufacturers. Our future plan is to enhance our production capacity. We are also planning some joint ventures with some developers to bid the projects jointly and start a dedicated production line for projects.
