Ans: Goldi Solar has an ambitious plan to invest over INR 5,000 crore to expand its module manufacturing capacity to 6 GW by 2025. Currently possessing a capacity of 2.5 GW, the company plans to increase it to 4 GW by 2023. This expansion aims to meet the growing demand for solar modules in the market. Additionally, we aim to expand our reach by exploring new geographic locations, penetrating additional pin codes, and engaging more with end-consumers through our fast-expanding channel business.

Que: Earlier this year, Goldi Solar showcased its HELOC® Pro Mono DCR module. Kindly share the advantages of HELOC® along with the technical specifications.

Ans: The HELOC® Pro Mono DCR module is based on a new circuit design using multi-busbar technology, which reduces current losses. Their advanced glass and cell surface textured design ensures excellent performance in low-light environments and reduces hotspot losses. The modules have passed rigorous quality tests and can withstand a snow load of up to 5,400 Pa and a wind load of 2,400 Pa.

The Mono DCR module features both mono-facial and bi-facial modules with M10 wafer size with a power output ranging from 520 Wp – 550 Wp. The modules are widely used in utility, agriculture, industrial, and rooftop applications. The panels come with a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year performance warranty.

Que: Please tell us about the major clientele and market footprint for the HELOC® Pro Mono DCR module.

Ans: HELOC® Pro Mono DCR modules are well-suited for manufacturing industries, institutional establishments, and residential customers who wish to save on electricity bills by harnessing solar energy.

Additionally, these modules are particularly beneficial for farmers, as they can significantly increase their income when used with water pumps and for cold storage, while also minimizing food wastage through sustainable energy solutions.

Que: Earlier this year, Goldi Solar partnered with YES BANK to finance solar projects for its MSME customers, through YES BANK’s YES KIRAN programme. Tell us more about this collaboration.

Ans: We partnered with YES BANK under the YES KIRAN program aims to provide financial assistance to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) manufacturers interested in adopting solar solutions. Through this partnership, MSME customers can access financing options to install solar panels on their premises.
