Waaree Energies to Supply 445 MW Bifacial Modules for Statkraft India's Solar Projects

Waaree Energies has announced that it will supply Statkraft India with 445 MW of its 540/545 Wp dual glass bifacial modules to power single-location solar projects in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
Waaree Energies aims to meet India’s growing power needs, transform the nation’s renewable energy sector, and help achieve net-zero status through this deal, which is scheduled for delivery between May and August 2024.

According to Waaree, the installation of its bifacial solar modules will increase the area’s capacity for renewable energy. Further, it is expected to contribute towards reducing carbon emissions and promoting environmental sustainability.
