Waaree Energies Secures 600 MWp Solar Module Supply Order
Waaree Energies Ltd. has received an order to supply up to 600 MWp of solar modules from a renowned renewable energy developer. The supply is scheduled to begin in FY 2025-2026, marking the company's second major order since its stock market debut.

Waaree Energies Ltd. has announced securing an order to supply solar modules totaling up to 600 MWp from a leading customer in the renewable energy sector.
The modules are expected to be supplied beginning in FY 2025-2026, according to an exchange filing.This marks the second significant order for Waaree Energies since its listing on the stock exchange.
Earlier this month, the company secured another order for up to 180 MWp of modules from a well-known renewable energy developer in India, with supply slated to begin by November 2024 and completion expected by the end of FY 2025.
Amit Paithankar, CEO, Waaree Energies, said, "This project represents more than just megawatts; it symbolises our nation's progress toward energy self-reliance and sustainability."
Waaree Energies made its stock market debut on October 28, listing at INR 2,500 per share, a 66 percent premium over its issue price of INR 1,503. The stock peaked at INR 3,743 on November 6 before seeing some correction.
The company operates five manufacturing facilities across Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh, specialising in photovoltaic module production.
