Waaree Energies Secures 1 GW Solar Module Order

Waaree Energies Ltd., India’s  solar module manufacturing company, has secured prestigious order for 1 GW of solar modules.

According to the company's statement, the order has been secured from a renowned developer and is scheduled for delivery in 2025.

This marks another significant milestone in Waaree’s journey to drive India’s solar energy ambitions.The order features Waaree’s latest Topcon 580Wp Bifacial Glass modules, which are known for their high efficiency and durability.

As per the firm's statement, "These high-efficiency solar modules are designed to maximise energy production, making them an ideal choice for large-scale solar projects. Waaree's Topcon 580Wp Bifacial Glass modules are engineered for durability and performance, allowing for enhanced energy generation and reduced environmental impact. As India continues to ramp up its renewable energy efforts, partnerships like this are essential for meeting the country's ambitious solar targets."

The firm's currrent manufacturing capacity stands at 13.3 GW, including 1.3 GW from Indosolar.  The company operates a NABL-accredited testing laboratory to ensure every module meets stringent quality standards, said the firm.
