Waaree Energies Ltd., India’s renewable energy company, reported impressive financial performance for the second quarter of FY25, with a 17 percent year-on-year growth in Profit After Tax (PAT) to INR 3,757 million.
As per the firm, the company’s EBITDA rose by 14 percent to INR 6,139 million, with EBITDA margins improving to 16.8 percent compared to 15.1 percent in the same period last year. Total income for the quarter increased to INR 36,635 million, registering a 3 percent rise. This growth underscores Waaree’s strong operational focus and its ability to maintain consistent performance amidst a dynamic market environment.
It further stated that for the first half of FY25, Waaree achieved a production milestone of 3.3 GW of solar PV modules, reflecting significant progress toward its annual goals, especially when compared to the 4.8 GW produced in the entirety of FY24.
The company’s order book stood at 20 GW as of September 30, 2024. To further enhance its capabilities, the Board of Directors approved an investment of INR 6,000 million to develop infrastructure and connectivity for renewable power projects, while also strengthening its bidding pipeline.
With an installed manufacturing capacity of 13.3 GW, including 1.3 GW from Indosolar, Waaree Energies serves clients across India and over 25 countries globally.
