Vikram Solar Commissions Rooftop Solar Plant on the Tallest Building in Kolkata-‘The 42’

Vikram Solar has announced that it has commissioned a prestigious solar project on top of the tallest skyscraper in Kolkata- ‘The 42’ residential building. The Rooftop solar plant is of 22.5 kW capacity and consists of 60 solar panels, covering an area of 116 sq.mtrs (approx).

The solar plant has been installed on the 64th floor or the rooftop of ‘The 42’ Buildings. And, the 22.5 kW solar plant has (60) 375 Wp 72 cell Monocrystalline solar panels to generate 33,674 Units of green energy per year. This solar plant is expected to save 36.14 Tonnes of CO2 per year.
