Vena Energy Commissions 20 MW Solar Projects in Japan
Vena Energy, Asia-Pacific’s leading renewable energy company, announced the commissioning of the 'Nanbucho 2' and 'Nanbucho 3' solar projects in Nanbu-cho, Aomori Prefecture, Japan.

With a combined capacity of 20 MW, these projects are capable of supplying clean energy to approximately 4,900 Japanese households, while avoiding the equivalent of 10,652 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions and saving 18 million litres of water, compared to thermal generation per annum.
“Aomori Prefecture holds special significance for Vena Energy, as it is now home to 16 of our renewable energy projects. It is a testament to our ongoing commitment to the region, and we extend our sincere appreciation to our host communities for their continued support.” said Raul Rienda, Country Head of Japan. “Together, we are committed to accelerating the energy transition in Japan while preserving the local biodiversity and environment.”
