Vadodara Municipal Corporation Invites Tenders for Solar Rooftop Power Plant Project

Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has issued an e-tender notice inviting bids in two parts, Technical Bid and Price Bid, from registered contractors for the installation of a Solar Rooftop Power Plant at various buildings of VMC.

Eligible bidders include those associated with VMC, as well as contractors registered with Central, State, PWD, M.E.S., GEDA, Semi Government, or similar institutions. The tender is issued through the online e-tendering system.

The project involves the  design, engineering, supply and procurement, erection, testing, commissioning and comprehensive operation and maintenance for a period of ten  years for Solar Root Top Power Plant at various building of  VMC.

The work is estimated to cost INR 19,86,88,500 and must be completed within 240 days. The interested contractors are required to submit bids with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 39,75,000, a tender fee of INR 20,000, and the applicable stamp duty as per rules.

Interested bidders can download the tender documents from the official website. All tenders must be submitted via the e-tendering portal, and any conditional tenders will be rejected. The online submission window for completed tender documents is from February 6, 2025, to February 24, 2025, with the last date of submission set on February 24, 2025, and an extended period until 13:00 hours on the same day.

Additionally, a hard copy of the pre-qualification bid, along with the EMD and tender fee, must be submitted. VMC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason.
