Uttarakhand CM Sanctions INR 28.69 Lakh Budget for Installation of 500 Solar Streetlights

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved multiple infrastructure, tourism, and renewable energy projects, including the installation of 500 solar streetlights in disaster-prone rural areas.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved the installation of 500 solar streetlights in disaster-prone and rural areas, including Khair Mansingh, Dron Dwara, Theva Maldevta, Asthal, and Akhandwali Bhilang, with a budget of INR 28.69 lakh. This initiative aims to boost the state's renewable energy sector.

In a broader push for state-wide development, CM Dhami has sanctioned several key infrastructure, tourism, and community projects. These include INR 99.99 lakh for renovation work at Gurunanak Public Inter College in Dehradun and INR 8.11 lakh for constructing a 50 KL reservoir at the Eco Task Force Garhwal Rifle Headquarters to strengthen water conservation efforts.

Additionally, INR 23.97 lakh has been allocated for beautifying Devi Mandir and Shiv Mandir in Gram Sabha Kushiya Choun Malla to promote tourism and preserve cultural heritage. Other projects include a INT 38.83 lakh connecting road from Kholi to Dhandli, INR 47 lakh for the beautification of Maa Bhagwati Mandir Chami Bhaiskot, and INR 48.80 lakh for the development of Guru Gorakhnath Mandir Mela Sthal.

With these projects, the state government reaffirms its commitment to strengthening infrastructure, boosting tourism, and fostering sustainable community development in Uttarakhand.
