The Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (UREDA) has opened bidding for the commissioning of 250 MW of grid-connected solar power projects under the 'Mukhyamantri Saur Swarojgar Yojana.'
The selected developers will not only be responsible for commissioning the solar power projects but will also oversee their comprehensive operation and maintenance for a period of five years. Interested developers have until February 8, to submit their bids. The bids will be opened on the following day. A bid security amount of INR 1 million is required to be submitted along with the proposals.
Under the 'Mukhyamantri Saur Swarojgar Yojana,' the solar projects will range in capacity from 20 kW to 200 kW, as prescribed by UREDA. The tentative total capacity for these projects is approximately 250 MW. The maximum benchmark rate for a 1 kW solar project has been set at INR 50,000.
Bidders must have a minimum of three years of experience in supplying, installing, commissioning, and maintaining on-grid solar power projects. Bidders are required to possess a collective experience that encompasses a minimum cumulative capacity of 500 kW. Additionally, bidders are required to demonstrate an average annual turnover of a minimum of INR 10 million over the last three financial years.
Only modules from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy's Approved List for Models and Manufacturers, with a minimum capacity of 300 W, are permitted for use in the projects.
