Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has floated a tender for the empanelment of vendors to identify State Government buildings for solarisation across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.

The scope of work includes the identification of State Government buildings having a sanctioned load of 25 kW and above, the preparation of feasibility reports, and the evaluation of grid-connected solar rooftop installation potential of about 10,000 buildings across UP.

The estimated cost of the project is about INR 4 crore. The project must be completed in 2 months.

Bidders need to pay INR 11,800 as a tender document fee. Further, they need to furnish INR 8 lakh as an earnest money deposit (EMD). Selected bidders must submit a performance bank guarantee (PBG) at 10 percent of the work order value.

The last date for submission of bids is April 25, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on April 25, 2025.

The empanelled agency needs to conduct thorough on-site surveys of each identified building to assess its solar energy potential. They must also prepare detailed feasibility reports for each building as per the site survey and data collection.

The bidder must have a minimum of three years of experience in providing consultancy services related to conducting surveys or pre-feasibility studies or detailed project report (DPR) preparation for grid-connected solar rooftop power projects in India.

Additionally, the bidder must have completed surveys or pre-feasibility studies or DPR of grid-connected solar rooftop power projects of capacity not less than 25 MW during the last seven years.

The average annual financial turnover of the bidder must be at least INR 2 crore over the last three financial years.
