UPNEDA Invites Bids for O&M of Mini-Grid and DDG Solar Power Plants
The firms should possess a minimum of five years in building, operating, and maintaining mini-grids, with documentation verifying at least two sites with a cumulative capacity of 25 kW or above.

The Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has opened bidding for the operation and maintenance of Mini-Grids and DDG Solar Power Plants across various districts of Uttar Pradesh.
Interested and experienced firms are invited to participate in the bidding process. The bid document became available for interested firms starting from February 28, 2024, at 06:00 PM. Firms have until the bid submission deadline on March 6, 2024, at 06:00 PM, to submit their bids. Following this, the technical bid opening is scheduled for March 7, 2024, at 11:00 AM. However, the date for the financial bid opening will be determined after the technical evaluation.
It's highlighted that hard copies of the tender documents are not required. However, firms must ensure that the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 25,000/- in the form of a demand draft, along with other relevant documents specified in the bid document, reaches UPNEDA's head office by 6th March 2024, 06:00 PM.
The Director of UPNEDA retains the right to reject any or all offers without assigning any reason, with their decision being final and binding.
A Tender Fee of INR 5,900/- inclusive of GST is required, payable via demand draft. Financially, bidders must demonstrate an Overall Average Annual Turnover (ATO) of at least INR 15,000/- per kW of quoted capacity, calculated based on the best-performing three of the last five financial years.
