UPNEDA Invites Bids for 5 MW Solar Projects in Uttar Pradesh
Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has issued a tender for the selection of a solar power developer for setting up a 5 MW grid-connected solar PV power project in the Mau district of Uttar Pradesh. Bid submission ends on March 10, 2025.

Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has floated a tender for the selection of a solar power developer for setting up of 5 MW grid-connected solar PV power project in the Mau district of Uttar Pradesh.
The land will be provided in village Saraisadi in Mau district by UPNEDA on a lease rent of INR 15,000 per acre per annum. The SPG will enter into a lease agreement for 30 years immediately after the signing of the PPA with UPNEDA.
Bidders need to pay INR 25,000 (plus GST) as a tender document fee. Further, they need to pay a document processing fee of INR 2 lakh (plus GST). Additionally, they need to furnish INR 8 lakh/MW i.e. total of INR 40 lakh as an earnest money deposit (EMD). Selected bidders need to submit a Performance Guarantee for a value of INR 20 lakh/MW.
The last date for submission of bids is March 10, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on March 11, 2025.
UPPCL will enter into a PPA with successful SPGs/bidders for a period of 25 years from the date as per the provisions of the PPA. The maximum tariff payable to the Project Developer is fixed at INR 2.98/kWh for 25 years.
The declared annual CUF by the SPG must in no event, be less than 19 percent.
The tender proposes to promote only commercially established and operational technologies to minimise the technology risk and to achieve timely commissioning of the projects.
The modules used in the project must have been included in the ALMM List−I.
The net worth of the bidder must be equal to or greater than INR 80 lakh/MW of the quoted capacity, as on the last date of the previous Financial Year or as on the day at least 7 days prior to the bid submission deadline.
