UPNEDA Invites Bids for 320 MW Ground Mounted Solar PV Projects at Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has issued a tender to select solar project developer(s) for setting up to 320 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar PV power projects on build-own-operate basis at Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh. Bid submission ends on November 25, 2024.

Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has floated a tender to select solar project developer(s) for setting up to 320 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar PV power projects on a build-own-operate basis at Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh on land available for 30 years lease with UPNEDA.

Bidders need to pay INR 29,500 (including GST) as the cost of the RfS document and another INR 2 lakh (plus 18 percent GST) as a document processing fee. They also need to furnish two percent of the cost of the estimated value as an earnest money deposit (EMD).

The last date for submission of bids is November 25, 2024. Techno-commercial bids will be opened on November 26, 2024.

The total land available with UPNEDA for these projects is 1292.46 Acres. “The allotment of the land to the successful bidder for setting up of the solar plant shall be based on the price quoted for land lease per acre per year. The successful bidder will sign the land lease agreement with UPNEDA after allotment of land as per the evaluation criteria,” noted the tender.

The Bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed similar works during the last 7 years ending the last day of the month previous to the one in which applications are invited. For three similar completed works, the cost should not be less than the amount equal to 40 percent of the estimated cost.

For two similar completed works, the cost should not be less than the amount equal to 50 percent of the estimated cost. And, for one similar completed work, costing should not be less than the amount equal to 80 percent of the estimated cost.

Similar works mean setting up of grid-connected ground-mounted solar PV projects on a build, own and operate basis.

The net worth of the bidder or its affiliate or parent or ultimate parent as on the date of the financial year ending on March 31, 2024 as the case may be, shall not be less than INR 0.95 crore per MW of the capacity quoted. The annual turnover of the bidder shall be a minimum INR 2 crore per MW in any last 7 financial years.
