UPNEDA Invites Bids for 1-10 kW Hybrid Solar Rooftop with Battery Backup in UP Govt Buildings

Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has invited bids for installing hybrid solar rooftop systems (1–10 kW) with battery backup across government buildings in Uttar Pradesh, with a cumulative capacity of 1 MW and an estimated cost of INR 23 crore.

Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has floated a tender for the supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 1 kW to 10 kW on-grid hybrid solar rooftop power plant with battery backup for captive use (capex mode) in government buildings in Uttar Pradesh.

The total cumulative capacity is estimated at about 1 MW and the estimated cost is about INR 23 crore. The projects need to be completed within 4 months.

Selected developers also need to provide comprehensive warranty maintenance for 10 years.

Bidders need to pay INR 11800 (including GST) as e-tender cost. The bidder needs to submit EMD in the form of ban guarantee or demand draft of two percent of the estimated cost. Selected bidders need to deposit five percent of the work order value as performance security.

The last date for submission of bids in November 29, 2024. Technical bids will be opened on November 30, 2024.

The bidder should have continuously supplied and installed solar rooftop power plant for 30 percent of bid quantity, i.e. 300 kW, in last five financial years to any Central/State Govt. Organisation (including local body or autonomous institutions working under it)/Company.

Bidders should have overall Average Annual Turnover (ATO), in the best performing three years of last five financial years, of at least 30 percent of the tender cost i.e. INR 6.90 crores. Out of above mentioned five years, best performing three years will be considered for evaluation of Average Annual Turnover.
