Trontek Expands its Product Range LFP Battery and Earns AIS-156 Certification

The company is becoming one of the first in the country to possess its range of LFP and NMC batteries AIS-certified in both phases.

Trontek is an EV battery producer has initiated lithium phosphate to its product range of EV batteries. The company is becoming one of the first in the country to possess its range of LFP and NMC batteries AIS-certified in both phases.

This is in conformity with the EV battery standards devised by MoRTH (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways).

The phase-2 certification implies that Trontek's Li-ion batteries fulfil strict safety needs for battery safety, assurance, and performance. These contain thermal protection, audio-visual warning systems and IPX7, like smart BMS and Smart CAN enabled chargers.

NMC batteries avail up to 3.6KWh for ev two wheeler whereas LFP batteries avail 1.5 kWh to 3.64 kWh for ev two wheeler and 5.35KWh to 10.7 for ev three wheeler.

The new compliant NMC batteries have achieved more than 50,000 Km on-road testing corroborate for ev two wheeler and LFP batteries have accomplished 75000 Km for ev two wheeler and ev three wheeler analogously.

Trontek in 2007 based in Delhi has begun selling batteries for UPS. The Company in 2008 commenced importing batteries for e-Rickshaws and motorcycles.

The LiEv (Lithium Ion For Electric vehicle) series batteries were specifically introduced in January 2017 has launched the Li-Ion batteries for E bike, E Tricycle and Electric Car, serving and distributing to prime OEMs.
