Triveni Glass to Outlay INR 1,000 Crores for Solar Glass Plant in Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh has secured a proposal from Triveni Glass Limited for a solar glass manufacturing amenity.

Triveni Glass Ltd will outlay INR 1,000 crore to install 840 metric tonnes each day potential solar glass manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh.
The glass manufacturer will establish the plant at Pangidi in East Godavari district, generating 2,000 jobs.
Triveni Glass Managing Director Varun Gupta met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and discussed investments in the southern state of India, which is on the tip of holding Global Investors' Summit in Visakhapatnam.

Triveni Glass is headquartered in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. Triveni Glass deals with the manufacturing of tempered glass, mirrors, and float glass among others in India at many places including Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh’s East Godavari district. It has the plan to locate the solar glass fab.
According to the state government estimates, Andhra Pradesh has the potential to captivate an outlay of INR 3.5 trillion to INR 4.0 trillion in 44 GW wind and 38 GW solar power.
