TrinaTracker Receives Independent Technical Assessment Report for Its SuperTrack Technology
TrinaTracker, the smart tracking solution provider of Trina Solar Co., Ltd. announces that it has received an independent technical analysis report for its technology SuperTrack made by an internationally renowned company.

The report evaluated SuperTrack technology and estimated its potential impact on lead generation. The report states that TrinaTracker's SuperTrack technology has the potential to increase output from solar power plants by 3.06%.
According to the report, SuperTrack's smart tracking methodology was reviewed and production estimates were made for a hypothetical 100 MW project in Campiña, Spain.
The report states that SuperTrack technology has the ability to increase power generation from solar plants by capturing diffuse light in cloudy conditions and reducing row-on-row shading on project sites with terrain curly.
SuperTrack is an intelligent, self-adjusting, fast track control system designed by TrinaTracker, which applies SBA and STA algorithms to correct for shading caused by sloping terrain and to capture diffuse light in cloudy conditions.
As more projects are built in areas with complex terrain, the use of SuperTrack in standard solar tracking projects will significantly increase the power generated. Furthermore, the report states that the SuperTrack methodology is verified as logical and consistent with other advanced tracking algorithms being used in the industry.
