TrinaTracker has launched an innovative intelligent tracking solution featuring the upgraded Vanguard 1P combined with high-performance 700W+ modules, marking a significant advancement in solar tracking technology.
The upgraded Vanguard 1P stands out as a high-quality product, emphasizing increased safety and reliability. Tailored for customers with diverse needs, particularly in composite application settings, it represents a significant step forward in solar tracking solutions.
TrinaTracker's approach prioritizes a rapid installation solution, aiming to reduce costs and enhance efficiency, especially in complex installation environments.
The new Vanguard 1P introduces a contracted pipe design, halving torque tube connection time. Its multi-drive system reduces drive installation time by 30 percent, while split spherical bearings and a quick purlin installation system contribute to a 20 percent and 30 percent reduction in overall installation time, respectively.
Equipped with the proprietary SuperTrack smart algorithm and the Trina Smart Cloud monitoring platform, the upgraded Vanguard 1P introduces unparalleled efficiency gains. Compared to traditional algorithms, SuperTrack can achieve energy gains of up to 8 percent. Employing self-learning and self-optimizing approaches in real-time mitigates power losses due to shading in complex terrains.
The Trina Smart Cloud platform enables real-time monitoring and diagnosis, featuring special elements such as data sharing, a 3D digital map, and health diagnosis, effectively addressing operational and maintenance challenges in intricate terrains.
Quan Peng, head of R&D in the Tracker Division of Trina Solar Co Ltd, said: "The new-generation Vanguard 1P combines the core strengths of adaptability to terrain, construction, climate and peripherals. It is perfectly suited for 700W+ modules. Compared with 630W modules, using the combination of newly upgraded Vanguard 1P and 700W+ modules can lower BOS costs by RMB 0.038/W and improve IRR by up to 0.4% under typical working conditions in flat terrains."
TrinaTracker's latest design and flexible arrangement address the challenge of underused areas, efficiently utilizing irregular plots of land. The use of the newly upgraded Vanguard 1P results in a 43 percent reduction in the number of trackers per MW, a 4 percent reduction in the number of posts per MW, and a 16 percent increase in installed capacity compared to conventional 1P trackers, contributing significantly to the reduction of Balance of System (BOS) costs.
