The Adalat will be offering on-the-spot-settlement of electricity theft and disconnected connection cases.
Consumers looking forward to settling their power-theft cases and dues pertaining to cases of disconnected connections can utilise this golden opportunity for an amicable and quick settlement of unsolved cases.
In case of a default, the company will be obliged to initiate criminal / civil proceedings against these consumers under the relevant provision of the Electricity Act, 2003 and DERC Regulations. Consumers can pay their bills through various modes such as demand draft, cheque, credit card, debit card, online modes, or cash.
