Torrent Power Inks MoUs Worth INR 47,350 Crore with Gujarat Government

The proposed investments are strategically planned for renewable energy, green hydrogen, and power distribution, aiming to contribute to the state's development while creating large-scale employment opportunities.
The four MoUs include 3,450 MW of solar power projects and 1,045 MWs of hybrid power projects for INR 30,650 crore, development of infrastructure for a 7,000-MW solar park for INR 4,500 crore, green hydrogen/green ammonia production facility for INR 7,200 crore and investment of INR 5,000 crore in Torrent Power’s distribution business in the state.
Samir Mehta, Chairman of Torrent Group, expressed the commitment to contribute to nation-building by aligning their plans with national priorities in the sectors where they operate.
