Identifying the significance of successfully exploring the energy transition whereas resolving issues like energy security, affordability, and environmental sustainability, Malaysia targets to remain economically resilient while tapping the economic opportunities of sustainable growth.

However, the transition will facilitate technology transfer and enhance human capital competencies.

Vantage RE was established in 2021 and based in London, under TNB’s global environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts.

It owns, operates, develops, and manages a portfolio of renewable energy assets in the UK and Europe, presently comprising more than 630 MW of solar, onshore, and offshore wind projects.

Nik Nazmi inaugurated Vantage RE’s new headquarters at 20 Eastbourne Terrace and visited its offshore wind farms off the coast of Blyth, Northeast England.

Nazmi said, “I am hopeful that Vantage will continue to grow and make even greater strides in the coming years. Your ideas and expertise are invaluable as we pursue our ambitious Energy Transition goals.”

He further added, “I am confident that the UK’s insights will provide crucial guidance for Malaysia as we pursue this vision.”

The UK government’s pledge to augment its wind and solar capacity is in line with Vantage RE’s core business growth targets.
