The Mobility House announced that Bryan Thomas will be joining their team as the company acquired charging service provider Charge Theory.

The Mobility House’s decade-plus experience with smart charging worldwide coupled with Charge Theory’s pioneering Charging as a Service (CaaS) model ensures a complete, class-leading turnkey charging solution for electrifying fleets - from school and transit buses to last-mile delivery.

The company can now provide the establishment and functioning of all necessary charging equipment and infrastructure to support an electric fleet's operation with a guaranteed uptime of the charging system, at no upfront cost.

Thomas will lead Business Model Innovation in the U.S. to develop products, services, and partnerships that solve the financial and operational hurdles fleet operators face in their electric vehicle transition.

“We are delighted to bring such expertise in charging service business models onto the U.S. team to help deliver what the market is desiring: turnkey solutions that make fleet electrification simple,” said Greg Hintler, U.S. Managing Director, The Mobility House. “With this expanded solution offering, The Mobility House is accelerating efforts to offer new charging service options alongside our existing partners to help any fleet achieve bold carbon emission reduction goals.”

Charge Theory was an early pioneer of electric vehicle charging solutions for commercial fleets, reducing the operational risks related to EV charging by supplying charging for commercial fleets without any upfront cost.

This helped establish an entirely new managed charging business model in which fleet operators could rapidly deploy fleet charging with a usage-based fee.
