TGREDCO Issues EPC Empanelment Tender for 1000 MW Solar Projects in Telangana

Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation Ltd. (TGREDCO) has issued a tender to empanel EPC vendors for 1,000 MW of grid-connected solar power plants in Telangana, with a 5-year O&M requirement through a rate contract CAPEX model. Bid submission ends on December 10, 2024.

Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation Ltd. (TGREDCO) has floated a tender to empanel EPC vendors for design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning with a remote monitoring system for grid-connected solar power plants of 1 MW capacity each for a cumulative capacity of 1,000 MW in Telangana through rate contract CAPEX Mode.

The period of empanelment will be 1 year. The bidder also needs to offer 5 years of comprehensive operation and maintenance of the solar power plants.

Bidders need to pay INR 29,500 (including GST) as a bid document fee. The bidder also needs to pay INR 5 lakh as an empanelment deposit. Selected bidders need to submit 10 percent of the total work order value in the form of a demand draft or bank guarantee.

The last date for submission of bids is December 10, 2024. Technical bids will be opened on December 11, 2024 and the Financial Bids will be opened on December 16, 2024.

The bidder should have a minimum of one year of experience in the successful installation of grid-connected ground-mounted solar power plants.

Additionally, the bidder should have constructed and commissioned at least 1 MW (single location or cumulative capacity) grid-connected ground-mounted solar power plant with 33/11KV evacuation experience during the last three financial years.

As for financial eligibility, the bidder must have a financial turnover of a minimum of INR 3 crore in any one year during the last three financial years. However, to get the award of the capacity, the empanelled vendor has to meet the INR 3 crore/MW or equivalent work order value criteria as turnover for the total cumulative capacity offered.
