Terra Charge has unveiled a new public EV charging hub at Village Morta, Delhi Meerut Highway, Pillar No. 682, Ghaziabad.

The new park and charge facility is already live for public use and features 70 slow chargers of 3.3 kW and one DC fast charger of 60 kW, supported by CCS Type 2 technology. This charging hub is the first of its kind in Ghaziabad and offers convenient charging solutions to both public and commercial fleets.

Terra Charge has invested INR 5 crore in this project to offer the public easy access to advanced Japanese charging technology while expanding its charging infrastructure in India.

Akihiro Ueda, CEO of Terra Charge, said, “Our new hub in Ghaziabad is one of the largest public EV charging stations in India. We chose to keep our charging hub open to public and commercial fleets to meet the region’s charging requirements and support large-scale adoption. As someone active in this industry for over a decade, I believe that charging and EV adoption go hand in hand. This is why it is important to support charging businesses to promote EV adoption in the country. We designed the new station to enhance EV users' experience and address their safety concerns, so we built user-friendly gated premises where visitors can avail of 24/7 customer support.”

All 71 Japanese chargers are compatible with all major categories of electric vehicles, including E2W, E3W, and E4W. The spacious charging station can support the charging of up to 72 EVs at once. With this charging station in Ghaziabad, Terra Charge has 50 live charging stations and over 400 charging points in India.

The company is exploring new strategic partnerships and joint projects to support India’s EV market, which is projected to become USD 48.6 billion by 2030.
