Telangana Discom Invites Bids for 2.4 MW Ground Mounted Solar Plants
Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd. (TGNPDCL) has invited bids to set up two grid-connected ground-mounted solar plants totalling 2.4 MW in Karimnagar district on a build, operate, maintain, and transfer (BOMT) basis.

Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd. (TGNPDCL) has floated a tender for setting up two grid-connected ground-mounted solar plant with a cumulative capacity of 2.4 MW in Karimnagar district of Telangana.
The scope of work includes design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning with Remote Monitoring System of the 2 solar plants, each with a capacity of 1.2 MW at 33/11KV substation at Nallagonda and Nerella (CESS). The projects will be built under build, operate, maintain and transfer (BOMT) basis.
The project must be completed in 6 months. Bidders must offer comprehensive operation and maintenance for 5 years.
The bidders must pay 2 percent of the quoted amount as a bid security.
The last date for the submission of bids is April 7, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on April 8, 2025 and the financial bids will be opened on April 10, 2025.
Bidders must be empanelled vendors of REDCO TGNPDCL with requisite experience of at least minimum 1.2 MW cumulative capacity in field of grid-connected, ground-mounted solar PV systems during the last three financial years.
The bidder must possess an annual average turnover of at least INR 7.2 crore during the last three financial years.
