Tata Power Solar Bags LoA worth Rs 612 Cr from SJVN to Build 100MW Solar Project in Gujarat
A day after securing a floating solar project worth Rs 596 crore from NHDC, Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd (TPSSL) has secured another Letter of Award (LoA) worth Rs 612 crore from state-owned SJVN Ltd for developing a 100 MW ground-mounted solar project in Gujarat.

A day after securing a floating solar project worth Rs 596 crore from NHDC, Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd (TPSSL) has secured another Letter of Award (LoA) worth Rs 612 crore from state-owned SJVN Ltd for developing a 100 MW ground-mounted solar project in Gujarat.
Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd is the wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL), in which Tata Power holds a 93.94 per cent stake.
Earlier this year, SJVN had invited bids for setting up a ground-mounted solar project at the Raghanesda solar park plot C in Gujarat. The company had won this project under tariff-based competitive bidding.
Commenting on the project win, Ashish Khanna, CEO of Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd, said, “we are glad to be associated with SJVN for setting up this 100MW landmark solar project in the ground-mounted segment. The project win further solidifies our expertise in developing and deploying large-scale renewable projects for the public and corporate sector clients around the country.”
Moreover, the project is expected to be commissioned within 11 months from the date of the LoA issued to the company.
With this win, Tata Power Solar Systems’ total solar project portfolio touched 9.9 GWp. As on date, its total order book stood at Rs 15,520 crore.
