Tata Power-DDL Wins Deming Prize 2024 for Excellence in TQM
Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. has been awarded the prestigious Deming Prize 2024 for its outstanding Total Quality Management (TQM) practices. As the first power distribution company to receive this global recognition, Tata Power-DDL sets a new benchmark for quality excellence.

The award ceremony is set to take place in November 2024. "By implementing Total Quality Management (TQM) practices, Tata Power-DDL has successfully transformed its processes and significantly enhanced its business performance, setting new industry benchmarks," said the firm in its press note.
It may be noted that the 'Deming Prize', established in 1951 by the Japanese Union of Scientists and Engineers (JUSE) in honour of Dr. W. Edwards Deming, is renowned for recognising organisations that excel in quality management. It is awarded based on rigorous criteria that evaluate an organisation’s commitment to continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.
