Tata Power DDL Signs Treaty with NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam for Hydro Power Distribution

Tata Power Delhi Distribution has inked a pact with NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam to extract 200 MW hydro power delivery for fulfilling its anticipated high demand for the subsequent five years during the summer months, from May to September.

Tata Power DDL inked its first medium-term Hydro PPA for 200 MW with NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd, to fulfil the expected high demand.

The NVVNL will deliver power to Tata Power-DDL will support by assuring continuous and reliable power to the users for the subsequent five years particularly during the summer months (May to September).

The association will support Tata Power-DDL expand its renewable portfolio.

Tata Power DDL is a consortium between Tata Power and the Government of NCT of Delhi.

The DISCOM intended numerous policy decisions stressing rising dependence on non-fossil resources and acknowledging its commitment to making a greener planet.

Moreover, regarding the current summer period, Tata Power-DDL has devised proper power arrangements to make sure the adequacy amount of power supply in its area of functions.
