Liu stated “My trip this week supported Foxconn’s efforts to deepen partnerships, meet old friends and make new ones, and seek cooperation in new areas such as semiconductor development and electric vehicles”.
The company's plan layout is simply marked as building EV. It produces a specified distribution chain, containing chips and batteries, and has got the former General Motor Co plant in Ohio, US.
Foxconn has aspirational prospects to manufacture EVs, and is also looking to manufacture chips.
However, in the middle of the electronics major boosts strengths to the mainly loss-making EV industry, Foxconn requires to come forth and emerge to prove it can drive the wave of revolution.
The company contesting in the market for generating labeled EVs that can be specially designed for users, considerably that is a leading auto manufacturer or service provider.
