Switch Mobility has hit another major milestone with the official launch of SWITCH leV4 production line at their Hosur Plant in Tamil Nadu.

Switch Mobility has hit another major milestone with the official launch of SWITCH leV4 production line at their Hosur Plant in Tamil Nadu.

Mahesh Babu, Chief Executive Officer, Switch Mobility said in a recent post, “I am beyond thrilled to announce a major milestone today! The very first of our SWITCH IeV 4 has officially rolled off the production line at our Hosur plant. What an incredible moment shared with our esteemed dealer partners and the dedicated SWITCH Team!”

Switch Mobility Ltd., the electric vehicle arm of Ashok Leyland, has accomplished more than 100 million ‘green’ km globally through its electric buses and prevented about 70,000 tonne of carbon emissions.

Switch Mobility has reportedly invested about INR 100 crores on the development of the new IeV series of electric mini-trucks. The company had also secured pre-bookings for about 13,000 units of these EVs in the country already, from customers including e-commerce giants Amazon, Flipkart, Transworld and logistics firms such as TVS Logistics.
