Swelect HHV Solar to Manufacture 700 MW Solar Panels in Coimbatore

Swelect HHV Solar Photovoltaics Private Limited is a subsidiary of Swelect Energy Systems has commenced a plant in Coimbatore to manufacture solar energy panels.

R. Chellappan, Founder and Managing Director of Swelect said that the total self-operating assembling or production plant unit with an investment worth INR 120 crores possess the potential to produce 700 MW of solar panels in a twelve month period.

Its optimum capacity consumption will be around 500 MW to fulfil needs for exports, domestic network and chain partners, EPC projects, and Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects. The annual sales from this unit will be anticipated as INR 1,000 crore with total capacity utilisation.

He further added that Swelect has exported to the U.S. with the help of U.S. firm and is perceiving the huge markets such as Australia and west Asian countries for the purpose of direct exports also through the help of its subsidiaries.

The company will also be looking for the opportunities and possibilities for the joint venture with other companies to expand its reach in the number of countries in the subsequent a year two.
