Sunsure Energy Commissions Sixth Open Access Solar Plant in Uttar Pradesh
Sunsure Energy's newly commissioned solar plant is situated in Augasi, Banda, Uttar Pradesh, and has a capacity of 49 MWp.

Sunsure Energy has commissioned its sixth open access solar plant in Uttar Pradesh. The newly commissioned solar plant is situated in Augasi, Banda, and has a capacity of 49 MWp.
Sunsure has so far commissioned more than 100 MWp of open-access solar capacity in the state within a year. The project also takes the company’s total commissioned solar open access projects in the state to 160 MWp. Adding to this, the company has solar plants of 270 MWp under various stages of construction and development in the state. Sunsure Energy operates open access solar plants in Uttar Pradesh, with facilities already running in Agra, Banda, Mahoba, Jhansi, and Unnao.
The 49 MWp facility is expected to offset an impressive 1.3 million tonnes of CO2e over its lifetime, contributing to the state's clean energy transition. The company currently supplies green power to over 20 customers in the state, including Wonder Cement, Inox Air Products, Kajaria, Dabur, Gallantt Ispat, Orient Bell and others.
