Sunsure Energy Commences 21.3 MWp Captive Solar Plant for INOX Air Products in Uttar Pradesh

Solar plant was constructed with an outlay of INR 100 crores, this solar power plant will be delivering more than 3.1 crore units of green power to INOXAP’s units in Uttar Pradesh, providing a counterbalance of 28,000 tonnes of CO2 every year, for the subsequent 25 years.

INOX Air Products (INOXAP), India’s largest manufacturer of industrial and medical gases, has announced the commissioning of a 21.3 MWp solar power plant for self-utilisation in Uttar Pradesh.

INOXAP’s first committed solar power plant is also the huge outlay by the company in renewable energy. The plant has been commenced by one of India’s solar energy power developers, Sunsure Energy.

Solar plant was constructed with an outlay of INR 100 crores, this solar power plant will be delivering more than 3.1 crore units of green power to INOXAP’s units in Uttar Pradesh, providing a counterbalance of 28,000 tonnes of CO2 every year, for the subsequent 25 years.

INOX Air Products (INOXAP) is a manufacturer of industrial and medical gases, commenced a 21.3 MW open access captive solar power plant at Bangarmau in Unnao.
 
Siddharth Jain, Managing Director of INOX Air Products stated that the commencement of first open access solar power plant in India will resultantly help in reaching Net Zero goals. And this project was accomplished within a record time period of 9 months.
