Sungrow India Achieves Remarkable Breakthrough of Completion of 5 Years in Line with Make In India Initiative
The company has achieved a remarkable breakthrough of finishing 5 years of the Indian manufacturing journey that commenced in 2018 as per the Government of India’s 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' initiative with transmit of string & central inverters from the India factory.

Mallikarjun, Sungrow India Factory Head, added, the yearly production capacity improvement to 10GW has yielded many value additions to 'MAKE IN INDIA' initiatives. Our factory unit area has augmented to 1,90,000 Sqft and local manpower has raise manifold since commissioning, availing more job opportunities for Indians. In the meantime, rising test capacities will facilitate customers with a more stable inverters supply, a new digitalized production line for higher efficiency, etc.
Sungrow deals in the R&D of solar inverters with the huge dedicated R&D team in the industry and a wide range of product portfolio serving PV inverter solutions and energy storage systems for utility-scale, commercial & industrial, and residential applications, along with internationally recognized floating PV plant solutions, NEV driving solutions, EV charging solutions and renewable hydrogen production systems.
The firm’s products and services are available in more than 150 nations globally.The company has the world’s largest inverter factory, with a global annual production capacity of 305 GW, comprising 25 GW outside China.
