Sungrow Hits 4GW Production Milestone in India in Q1

Manufacturer of inverter solutions for renewable, Sungrow has reached a 4 GW of PV inverters production milestone at its India factory during the first quarter of 2022.
 
In 2018, the company had built its India factory with a 3GW production capacity, which now expanded to 10GW as of March this year, and provides jobs for about 300 local people.
 
The company said that this factory is the largest manufacturing base in the Indian solar sector spreading over 1,90,000 square feet, and has produced a total of 4GW PV inverters in India within only three months of this year, making Sungrow the top producer in the Indian solar market.
 
In line with the Government’s ‘Make in India’ Initiative, the photovoltaic (PV) inverter manufacturer said that it is also paying attention towards upgrading the manufacturing mode with advanced technologies.

Sungrow has equipped its India factory with state-of-art production lines and testing center in order to provide cutting-edge products with satisfying customers’ OTD (on time delivery), it further said.
 
The PV inverter maker said in a statement that with such unparalleled competence in the manufacturing sector, Sungrow can better supply its inverter solutions to customers in not only India, but also in the global markets. In the future, the company will maintain its commitment to the “Make in India” Initiative with its first in class factory and dedicated local team.
 
Meanwhile, the company is also looking forward to making contributions that are more substantial to India through creating more employment opportunities and upgrading the entire industry chain.
