Sungrow, ACWA Power Hold a Meeting to Strengthen Relations

Sungrow Chairman Cao Renxian recently held a meeting with ACWA Power Chairman Mohammad Abunayyan to discuss innovative technologies such as green hydrogen production, clean energy cooperation and water desalination using renewable energy. The meeting was also attended by James Wu and Peng Chaocai, Sungrow’s Senior Vice President and Vice President respectively.
 
During the meeting, Mohammad Abunayyan said that ACWA Power and Sungrow have common goals in contributing to the energy transition and carbon neutrality.

The two parties maintain a long-term and robust strategic partnership and aim give full play to their respective leading advantages in the renewable energy industry, and strengthen cooperation in fields including PV, energy storage, and green hydrogen, contributing to a more sustainable and cleaner future.
 
Thanking ACWA Power for its continued support, Cao Renxian shared Sungrow's innovation and experience in various sectors including PV, wind power, energy storage, electric vehicle chargers, and hydrogen.

He said that the convergence of the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative and Saudi Arabia's ‘Vision 2030’ provides various opportunities for industry players. The company would continue providing cutting-edge technologies to meet the demand for ACWA Power. It would embed sustainability at the heart of its business and contribute its knowledge and strength to promote benefits for both parties.
 
Sungrow recently participated in the recent Energy Storage Summit 2023 held on February 22-23 in the UK. During the summit, James Li, Director of PV & Energy Storage System Product Solutions from Sungrow Europe, talked about liquid-cooled energy storage systems (ESS), the PowerTitan and PowerStack designed for utility-scale and commercial and industrial (C&I) applications.

Earlier this month, the company joined hands with Menlo Electric for a distribution contract.
