SUN Mobility and Bluwheelz Join Forces to Deploy 16,000 EVs in India

This ambitious collaboration aims to deploy 15,000 electric two-wheelers and 1,000 electric three-wheelers in metropolitan cities across India.

SUN Mobility has entered into a strategic partnership with electric vehicle fleet operator Bluwheelz to introduce more than 16,000 electric vehicles (EVs) over the next 12 months.

This ambitious collaboration aims to deploy 15,000 electric two-wheelers and 1,000 electric three-wheelers in metropolitan cities across India.

In addition to this, SUN Mobility plans to retrofit more than 1,000 existing four-wheeler loader fleets operated by BluWheelz into electric vehicles within the coming year. The initiative aligns with the shared goal of enhancing sustainable transportation and contributing to cleaner and more livable cities.

"We are now doing more than 1 million swaps every month, and with partners like Bluwheelz, we will empower more people to choose sustainable transportation options, making our cities cleaner and more liveable," said Anant Badjatya, CEO of SUN Mobility.

Bluwheelz Chairman Sanjiv Gupta also expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, "Our collaboration with Sun Mobility perfectly resonates with our mission to pave the way for a more sustainable and eco-friendly future in the realm of mid-mile and last-mile logistics across the country."

Deployment has already commenced in Delhi, with approximately 500 electric vehicles already on the road. Operations will soon extend to cities like Bangalore and Hyderabad.

SUN Mobility boasts a vast network of around 600 swap stations across the nation, providing Bluwheelz customers with a seamless and convenient battery-swapping experience.
