Step-by-Step Plan for Events by the Schleswig-Holstein State Govt Gives Confidence for a HUSUM Wind 2021 on Site

Messe Husum & Congress, organiser of HUSUM Wind, is relieved about last week’s step-by-step plan, with which the state of Schleswig-Holstein is opening up new perspectives for the event industry by gradually relaxing the pandemic regulations.

For HUSUM Wind from 14-17 September 2021, this means that the participant restrictions (number of people and square metres per person) can be lifted. A presence event has thus become possible in compliance with the measures known as ‘AHA’ (distance, hygiene, community mask) and ‘3G’ (vaccinated, recovered, tested) rules as well as an individual hygiene concept, provided that the incidences and the pandemic continue to develop positively. Messe Husum & Congress has currently sent out a detailed hygiene guideline to the exhibitors who have registered so far and is now hoping for the trust of the participants at HUSUM Wind, most of whom are long-term exhibitors, again this year. A final decision on the feasibility will be made in mid-June based on the registrations and feedback received.

The associations are also optimistic about the prospect of an industry meeting: Matthias Zelinger, Managing Director VDMA Power Systems and Head of the Competence Center Climate and Energy at VDMA: ‘The pandemic development and the gradual opening perspectives make a seriously planned and risk-conscious HUSUM Wind seem very realistic.’
