Soltec Power Holdings SA, a vertically integrated company with a specialisation in solar energy projects, will deliver 175 MW of SFOne tracker to Jinko Power for a solar PV plant in Málaga, Spain.

Jinko Solar’s photovoltaic plant will be installed with 1-in-vertical (1P) dual-row configuration trackers. The SFOne 1P solar tracker is engineered for larger 72 and 78-cell modules and stands out for its simplified engineering, terrain adaptability, superior efficiency, and low height, reducing its visual impact.

Soltec will supply 2,696 solar trackers to support the installation of 301,728 PV modules. The delivery of SFOne solar trackers is scheduled between July and October 2024.

The solar PV project in Andalusia marks a significant step in developing renewable energy resources in Spain. The newly developed solar plant will contribute to reducing over 98,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. The project also emphasises protecting the surrounding river area with minimum earthworks.

This development of Jinko Power’s solar plant will increase the country’s capacity to generate enough energy to power more than 105,000 homes.

Commenting on this strategic partnership between Soltec and Jinko Power, Raúl Morales, CEO of Soltec, said, “This project is yet another demonstration of Soltec’s commitment to the environment. We have worked on the implementation to have the least possible impact on the area. Additionally, working hand in hand with Jinko Power for decarbonisation in Spain is a pleasure for us, and we trust that this will be the first of many projects with Jinko Power in which we can collaborate.”
