Solarium Green Bags INR 2.01 Crore NVVN Rooftop Solar Order

Solarium Green Energy Ltd. has received an additional work order worth INR 2.01 crore (exclusive of GST) from NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd. (NVVN).

The firm said in its filing, "This order pertains to the inclusion of an additional capacity of 650 KW for Troop Comforts Ltd under the 'Development of 6,929 KW Grid-Connected Rooftop Solar Projects at various Central Armed Forces and Ministry of Home Affairs Zone 4 locations in Uttar Pradesh, as per the bid document dated August 19, 2024."

The contract comprises three key components viz. INR 1.66 crore is allocated for plant equipment supply and installation, with completion required within 240 days from the March 21, 2025 award date. INR 10.60 lakh covers local transportation and safety provisions. Additionally, INR 24.81 lakh is designated for a 10-year operations and maintenance commitment.

This new assignment supplements three previous work orders received under the same NVVN tender dated February 11, 2025.

Solarium Green Energy Chairman and Managing Director Ankit Garg stated, "The order would significantly broaden the customer base and serve as a key driver in enhancing the company's profitability."

The project aligns with the Ministry of Home Affairs' renewable energy adoption initiatives and represents continued business from a major public sector client.
