SolarEdge has announced that it has been recognised by Corporate Knights 2025 Global 100 Index as one of the hundred most sustainable companies in the world for the second year in a row.
SolarEdge has been recognised as a leader in sustainability for creating renewable energy technologies that promote a low-carbon economy, as well as its investment in sustainable solutions. SolarEdge has also been recognised for its progress in advancing various ESG practices and continuously progressing towards its sustainability targets.
The Corporate Knights Global 100 is a leading sustainability index that emphasises the impact of a company’s core products and services. As part of the ranking process, over 8,300 global publicly traded companies with over USD 1 billion in revenue are assessed across various key performance indicators, including the sustainability linkage of their revenues and investment, environmental performance, responsible employment practices and others.
Roy Weidberg, Head Of ESG at SolarEdge said,“We are delighted to kick-start 2025 with this acknowledgement, which exemplifies our commitment to responsible business practices and creating solutions that help address the challenges of climate change."
"With millions of homes around the world already connected to our solar and storage systems, and over 50 percent of Fortune 100 companies using our systems on at least one of their sites, the positive impact of our smart energy technologies is a great source of pride,” added Weidberg.
The Corporate Knights ranking is an addition to the growing recognition that SolarEdge has received for its sustainable impact and ESG practices. These include other high rankings in acclaimed ESG ratings, such as ISS, Ecovadis, CDP, MSCI, S&P, and others.
