Sofarsolar Launches Innovative Solutions at the Future Energy Show Philippines 2022

Sofarsolar made appearance at this year’s Future Energy Show Philippines 2022.

By presenting its latest solar and storage solutions at the leading energy & environment fair in the Philippines, Sofarsolar helps to accelerate the local energy transition.

Recent years have shown a steady increase in the country’s power demand and electricity costs. Small-scale PV projects have shown to be an effective way of countering these trends. Sofarsolar’s residential inverters, with a power range from 3 to 10.5 kW, have proven to be the perfect match for these projects.

The inverters’ compact and lightweight design simplifies installation, and with a maximum input current per MPPT of 15 A/20 A, a DC/AC ratio of up to 1.5, and a feed-in limitation function, a high and stable power generation is ensured.

During the event, Sofarsolar also introduced new solutions to the local market. The new Sofar PowerAll is an all-in-one residential storage system, that comes with an integrated hybrid inverter and lithium batteries. It’s the perfect solution to achieve energy independence.

The Sofar PowerAll’s fully modular and stacked design allow for flexible configuration and phased expansion, in turn leading to a lower investment costs.

Apart from the Sofar PowerAll, the company also presented its new generation of 60–80 kW C&I inverters. These inverters feature 6 MPPTs with 150% DC overload. With a maximum input MPPT current of 40 A, the inverter series are fully compatible with high-current PV panels, resulting in a higher yield.

Due to an expected growth in utility-scale PV installations, Sofar Solar has also officially presented its Sofar 255 kW inverter series.

These are equipped with 12 MPPTs with a maximum input current of 30 A per MPPT. The inverters have a maximum efficiency of 99.02%. With an increased DC current capability, the inverter supports the latest solar panel specifications and eliminates the need of PV fuses.

These features make the SOFAR 255 kW the perfect match for utility-scale projects and ensure a high return on investment for stakeholders.
